Hello, I'm Joy.

I create ceramics that celebrate creation, curiosity and the beauty found in everyday life. Every piece begins as a lump of clay and develops through the making, firing and careful finishing until it becomes something entirely unique and deeply personal.

I love creating one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the beauty, wonder and the patterns found in nature and my hope is simply that each piece brings a little joy, wonder and encouragement to whoever discovers it.

My Art is Hand Made Ceramics

No two pieces are ever the same.
Each vessel, sculpture, clock, brooch or little ‘Joy Pot’ is individually hand-built and finished using carefully chosen glazes, textures and often touches of 24ct gold.
Inspired by nature’s curves, seed pods, leaves, cells and flowing forms, every piece develops its own personality as the creative process moves along.
